Dear Friends and Fans,
the Sound has been a labor of love for me. I've been driven by the overwhelming urge to write better songs, I knew I could push myself harder and the more I pushed myself the less easy it became to be satisfied. Call it a healthy obsession, I suppose. But what's come from my time and efforts I believe is evident and doesn't really require as much of an introduction as I give it.
Like previous albums (bride, Come December and Break me down), the Sound is a gift. A free gift from me to you, that you can give to others. This seems to be a strange marketing strategy, but just go with me on this one. As it stands now, about a third of all the web traffic on this page is international (Non-U.S.), and I credit that to great fans and free music, that's been passed along.
If you're one of those whose been sharing my music, thank you and please continue... So download the songs, burn them, pass them around to whoever you want, add them to your Social Network(s), Email them to your friends, host a listening party, link them up to file sharing programs, they're yours to do what you want with them.
